10 April 2019 – China’s Commerce Ministry (MOC) has announced it will launch an anti-dumping investigation on methionine imported from Singapore, Malaysia and Japan.

MOC said the investigation will begin today (April 10). It will last for a year, but in special circumstances may be extended to October 10, 2020.

The probe was launched after the ministry received an application from Ningxia Unisplendour Tianhua Methionine Co. Ltd.
