4 October 2018 – Last week Feedinfo News Service hosted Feed Additives 2018, its second annual flagship event for executive leaders in the animal feed and nutrition industry. Across three days more than 350 attendees from around the world came to Amsterdam to discuss market trends, innovations, scientific advances and regulations that will define the sector in the coming years.
Attendees were presented with a series of facts, ideas and seasoned opinions, to help them shape their own business plans, and connect with potential partners who can help those plans come to fruition. Speakers included senior executives from some of the industry’s leading firms, including AB Vista, Alltech, BASF, Cargill, DSM, Kemin, Nuscience and Perstorp, as well as additives customers from Europe, Asia and North America. Their expertise was supplemented by presentations from consultants, academics, industry bodies and guest speakers including PwC, McDonalds, The World Trade Organization, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the EU Association of Speciality Feed Ingredients and their Mixtures (FEFANA).
